Odun Fasehun is the Vice President of Accounting for the Greater Pensacola Operation of Navy Federal Credit Union, the world’s largest credit union that serves the military community and their families. He oversees the Technical Accounting team in the Virginia and Pensacola offices, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance in the financial reporting. He also plays a vital role in the Greater Pensacola Executive Leadership team, where he provides strategic guidance and support to the regional operations.
Odun has a wealth of experience and expertise in the financial sector, having worked for USAA and Prudential before joining Navy Federal Credit Union in 2018. At USAA, he was in charge of the accounting and consolidation reporting for all business lines and shared services, managing the financial performance of one of the leading providers of insurance, banking, and investment services to the military community. At Prudential, he spent 15 years in various financial leadership roles, including expatriate international assignments in several countries throughout South-East Asia. He has successfully led operational and accounting functions through significant transformation and growth, both in the U.S and abroad.
Odun is not only a brilliant business leader, but also a mentor and a coach to many aspiring professionals. He is passionate about developing talent and considered a talent ambassador.
