Alhaja Titi Sanusi: A Trailblazer in Management and Leadership

Alhaja Titi Sanusi is a woman of many talents and achievements. She is a successful businesswoman, a visionary leader, a devoted wife and mother, and a champion of women empowerment and education. She has been honored with the Management and Leadership Award by the prestigious Effects Excellence Achievers Awards (EAA23), which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their fields and society.

Born in the historic city of Ibadan, Nigeria, in 1962, Alhaja Titi Sanusi inherited the entrepreneurial spirit and leadership qualities of her late father, Alhaji Chief (Dr) M.A. Adebayo Adetunji, a prominent businessman and philanthropist. She is the eldest of seven siblings, and she has always been a role model and mentor for them.

Alhaja Titi Sanusi pursued her higher education in the United Kingdom, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Finance with Manpower Personnel Management from Middlesex University in Hendon, London. She then returned to Nigeria to serve her country as a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from 1989 to 1990, working at the Union Bank in Dugbe, Ibadan.

In 1991, she married the love of her life in Ibadan, and soon after, she relocated to Norman, Oklahoma, in the United States. She is blessed with three beautiful daughters, who are following in her footsteps of excellence and achievement.

Alhaja Titi Sanusi has been working at Target Stores Corporation for 28 years, starting from the opening of a store in Brownsville, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley. She is currently the Store Director of Target Stores at the Northwest Fwy location in Houston, Texas, where she oversees the operations and performance of the store. She is known for her effective management and leadership skills, as well as her dedication and commitment to her team and customers.

Alhaja Titi Sanusi is also actively involved in various charitable and voluntary activities in the city of Houston. She is a court appointed advocate for child advocacy, where she helps children who are victims of abuse or neglect. She is also the current president of the Ibadan Descendant Union, Houston chapter, a cultural and social organization that promotes the heritage and values of the people of Ibadan. She is the grand matron of Eko Club Austin, Eko Club Rhode Island, and Eko Club San Antonio, which are similar organizations for the people of Lagos. She is also the Chairman and CEO of Merit Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports both men and women empowerment and education in Nigeria and beyond.

Alhaja Titi Sanusi is an inspiration and a trailblazer for many aspiring leaders, especially women, who want to make a positive difference in the world. She is a living proof that with hard work, determination, and passion, anything is possible. She is a true leader who leads by example, and a true achiever who achieves with grace.
