Nollywood Star Wumi Toriola Cries out: “I Don’t Mind Being A Second Wife, I Want To Marry, Even If It’s To A Widower”

Nollywood actress and producer Wumi Toriola has made a surprising revelation about her future marriage plans. The stunning star, who divorced her husband of four years in 2023, said she does not mind being a second wife or marrying a widower.

In a recent interview with media personality Debbie Shokoya, Toriola opened up about her failed marriage, her career, and her love life. She said she has learned a lot from her past experience and is now ready to settle down again with the right man.

I don’t have any problem with being a second wife or marrying a widower. As long as he loves me and treats me well, I don’t care about his past. I believe everyone deserves a second chance at happiness,” she said.

 Toriola rose to fame with her role in Isese Lagba in 2009, has featured in many movies such as Alakada ReloadedQueen Lateefah, and Our Love Story. She has also produced several films, including AjewunmiMy Past, and Ayo Ife

The actress, who is also the CEO of WT Signature, a fashion and beauty brand, said she is not in a hurry to remarry, but is open to meeting new people. She also said she is not bothered by what people think of her decision to be a second wife or marry a widower.

“I know some people may not like it, but it’s my life and my choice. I’m not here to please anyone. I’m here to live my life and be happy. I don’t care about titles or labels. I care about love and respect,” she said.

Toriola also said she has a good relationship with her ex-husband and his family, and that they still support each other. She said she has no regrets about her marriage, and that it was a learning experience for her.

“I don’t have any bitterness or hatred towards him. We just grew apart and decided to go our separate ways. We are still friends and we still talk. He is a good man and I wish him all the best,” she said.

Toriola, who has a son named Zion from her previous marriage, said she is not ruling out having more children in the future. She said she loves being a mother and that her son is her priority.

“My son is my everything. He is my joy and my strength. He is the reason I wake up every day and work hard. He is my blessing and I thank God for him. I would love to have more children someday, but only with the right man,” she said.

Toriola, who is currently working on a new movie project, said she is grateful for her fans and their support. She said she hopes to continue to entertain them with her talent and passion.

“I appreciate my fans so much. They are the reason I do what I do. They motivate me and inspire me. They are my family and I love them. I promise to always give them the best of me and make them proud,” she said.
