Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo is not backing down from her legal battle with popular social media user Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman. The actress has threatened to sue him for making several defamatory accusations against her and her daughter, Priscilla.
This comes after the actress filed a lawsuit against her colleague Lizzy Anjorin for the various videos she had made against her family. Anjorin had accused Ojo of being behind her arrest at the airport for drug trafficking, among other allegations.
Verydarkman, who is known for his controversial posts on Instagram, has also been attacking Ojo and her daughter for a while. He claimed that Ojo was involved in prostitution and that her daughter was pregnant. He also alleged that Ojo had a secret affair with a politician and that she was behind the death of her former husband.
Ojo, who has denied all the allegations, took to her Instagram page to share a copy of the legal notice she sent to Verydarkman. She warned him to stop defaming her character and reputation or face the consequences. She also urged her fans to report his account and block him.
The actress wrote: “Enough is enough!!! I have tried to ignore this man and his madness but I will not let him continue to drag my name and that of my family in the mud. He has crossed the line and I will not take it anymore. I have instructed my lawyers to take legal action against him and I will make sure he pays for his lies and slander. He will not get away with this. I will not be intimidated or silenced by his threats. He is a coward and a liar. He is verydarkman indeed.”
The actress also shared a video of herself addressing the issue. She said that she was not afraid of Verydarkman and that she was ready to face him in court. She also thanked her fans for their support and prayers.
