Samklef Reveals How He Made Wizkid and Davido Bury Their Beef
The Nigerian music industry witnessed a historic moment on Saturday when two of its biggest stars, Wizkid and Davido put aside their long-standing rivalry and partied together at a Lagos club. The video of the two icons hugging, dancing, and singing to each other’s songs has gone viral on social media, sparking joy and excitement among their fans.
However, many people have wondered how this reconciliation came about, after years of cold war and subtle jabs between the two artists. Well, according to one of their close associates Samklef said he was the one who initiated the peace move.
Samklef, who is a popular music producer and a former collaborator of Wizkid, revealed this on his Instagram page. He said that he had a conversation with Wizkid earlier that day, where he advised him to reach out to Davido and end their feud.
He wrote: “Na me tell wizkidayo make him try hang out with davido today and he listen. My beloved guy Wizzy. I’m happy for them.”
