In the game at the Stade de la Paix, Cameroon staged a stunning comeback to snatch a dramatic win and eliminate Ghana from the tournament.
In a remarkable finish in Bouake, Ebrima Colley put Gambia 2-1 up on 85 minutes, only for Joseph Gomez to score an own goal before Christopher Wooh netted the winner in injury time. Despite being 80 places above the Gambia in the world rankings, Cameroon faced a lot of pressure in the first half and were fortunate to be level at 0-0 by half-time.
