Beware of the Fake Loan Scam! Senate President Akpabio Exposes the Truth

Have you seen the online loan offer that promises you N200,000 in minutes? The one that has a picture of Senate President Godswill Akpabio and the CBN logo? Well, don’t fall for it! It’s a scam!

Senate President Akpabio has issued a stern warning to Nigerians about this fraudulent scheme that is circulating on social media platforms. He said that the fake offer, titled “N200,000 Palliative Loan By the Senate,” is a ploy by some unscrupulous elements to dupe innocent Nigerians of their hard-earned money.

The scam was posted on Facebook under the account name Templeshort, which has no connection to the Senate or the CBN. The post claims to provide instant loan approval to anyone who applies, but it is actually a trap to collect personal and financial information from unsuspecting victims.

The official spokesperson for the President of the Senate, Hon Eseme Eyiboh, has released a statement to debunk this malicious lie. He said that the Senate has no affiliation with Templeshort and is not associated with any Facebook handle operating under that name.

Also urged members of the public to pay no attention to the advertisement as it did not originate from the Office of the President of the Senate. He said that it is the work of fraudsters and unscrupulous individuals who are trying to take advantage of the economic situation and the need for palliatives.

“Senator Godswill Akpabio is not collaborating with the CBN or any other financial institution on any loan facility as a form of palliative,” Hon Eyiboh stressed. Said that Akpabio is committed to serving the nation and ensuring the welfare of the people.

He further urged the public to disregard such scams and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities. He said that the security agencies are working hard to track down and apprehend the perpetrators of this crime.

Don’t let them fool you Don’t let them rob you Don’t let them ruin your dreams Be smart Be vigilant Be safe Say no to the fake loan scam!
