Whether you’re a holidaymaker who likes chatting to locals or prefers keeping yourself to yourself, new research has found which country has the most and least friendliest dialects. This is according to new research from MinimumDepositCasinos.org which surveyed 5,000 people.

The most friendly accents and the percentage:
1. American – 19.5%
2. British – 13.6%
3. Australian – 8.8%
4. Canadian – 8.7%
5. German – 5.7%
6. French – 5.5%
7. Scottish – 3.2%
8= Italian – 3.0%
8= Austrian – 3.0%
9= Spanish – 2.8%
9= Irish – 2.8%
10. Indian – 2.2%
The American accent topped the list with nearly a fifth of respondents finding it the friendliest tone. It was followed by the British accent with 13.6% and the Australian accent coming in third place with 8.8% of the vote.
