Fivio Foreign, the Brooklyn drill rapper and friend of Tory Lanez, has cast doubt on the conviction of the Canadian artist for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot last year. In a recent interview on the “My Expert Opinion” podcast, Fivio questioned the validity of the evidence and the credibility of Megan’s claim, sparking a heated debate among fans and critics.
Fivio, who has collaborated with Tory on songs like “Big Drip (Remix)” and “K Lo K”, said he does not believe that Tory is the type of person who would carry or use guns. He also implied that Megan was not really shot, since there was no bullet hole in her foot.
“I wasn’t there and I’m no lawyer or no scientist, but if someone said they got shot and it’s no hole in their body they didn’t get shot we all know that,” he said.
Fivio’s comments echo the sentiments of some of Tory’s supporters, who have been questioning Megan’s account of the incident, even after Tory was found guilty of assault with a firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. Tory was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the shooting, which occurred in July 2020 after a party in Los Angeles.
Megan, on the other hand, has maintained that Tory was the one who shot her in both feet, causing her to undergo surgery and suffer emotional trauma. She has also shared photos of her injured foot and a video of her in an ambulance as proof of her ordeal. She has accused Tory of trying to silence her and discredit her story, and has received support from many celebrities and fans.
Fivio’s interview has reignited the controversy over the shooting, which has divided the hip-hop community and the public. Some people have criticized Fivio for being insensitive and ignorant, while others have praised him for being loyal and skeptical. The interview has also highlighted the difficulty of discerning the truth in celebrity scandals, where personal relationships and public images often influence the perception of facts.
