Why i can’t stand Nigerian women ——Timaya

Date:

Nigerian singer, Timaya, has dropped a bombshell on why he is not interested in dating Nigerian women. The ‘Dem Mama’ crooner, who has three children from two different women, said he prefers foreign women who are more exciting and less toxic.

In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Timaya said he cannot date a Nigerian woman because they have the same foundation and upbringing, which makes the relationship boring and stressful.

“If I am a Nigerian girl, I will not date a Nigerian man. Myself right now, I can’t date a Nigerian girl. My current lover is not Nigerian. I can’t date a Nigerian lady because we have the same foundation; the same upbringing. The relationship go be like police and thief. The relationship will be too toxic. We go dey lie for each other too much. We won’t even have peace,” he said.

Timaya also advised Nigerian women to avoid dating Nigerian men, stating that they are not good for them. He said Nigerian men are not romantic, faithful, or supportive. He said he has seen how Nigerian men treat their women and he is not impressed.

“Nigerian men are not good for Nigerian women. They don’t know how to love, they don’t know how to treat their women right, they don’t know how to support their dreams. They are always cheating, lying, and manipulating. They are not worth it. Nigerian women deserve better,” he said.

Timaya, who recently released his seventh studio album, ‘Gratitude’, said he is happy with his current relationship and he is not looking back. He said he has found his soulmate and he is ready to settle down with her.

“I have found the love of my life. She is everything I want in a woman. beautiful, smart, loyal, supportive, and fun. She understands me and she makes me happy. And she’s not Nigerian, but she is perfect for me. I am planning to marry her soon,” he said.
