Burna Boy, the Nigerian superstar singer, has unleashed his fury on Eedris Abdulkareem, his fellow artist, who dissed him on a podcast.
In a snippet of The Honest Bunch Podcast, which set the internet on fire on Saturday, Abdulkareem slammed Burna Boy for claiming that no Nigerian artist helped him in his career.
“Can you hear the nonsense that Burna Boy is spewing? He says no one helped him in Nigeria. That’s a stupid talk!” Abdulkareem said in the clip.
Burna Boy, who is currently rocking the Bahamas with his show, did not take the insult lightly. He took to his verified X account to clap back at Abdulkareem, who underwent a kidney transplant in 2022.
He blamed the people who donated money for Abdulkareem’s surgery for enabling his arrogance. He also challenged him to a physical confrontation, if he ever dared to step into his territory.
He wrote in Pidgin: “Abdul Kareem or whatever they call your father, I don’t blame you. I blame the people who gave you money for your hospital bills. And I wish you could come to the places where I am, so we can bump into each other by mistake.”
