Beale Bails Out After Brief Sunderland Stint

Michael Beale has quit Sunderland after a dismal spell of just two months at the helm.

The ex-QPR and Rangers manager failed to revive the fortunes of the struggling Black Cats, who languish in the bottom half of the Championship table. He only managed to secure four victories in 12 matches, with his last game ending in a 2-1 loss to Birmingham on Saturday.

Beale also faced backlash from fans and pundits for his apparent lack of respect towards Trai Hume, who he ignored when the young defender was replaced at St Andrew’s.

Sunderland are now looking for their fourth manager in less than a year, as they hope to avoid another relegation battle.
