Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe has beseeched President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, to intercede with his father on behalf of Nigerians to take swift measures to alleviate the agonizing economic woes.
She made the plea after Seyi Tinubu advised Nigerians to be patient with his father and bear the current economic hardship with the expectation of harvesting the fruits of the administration’s economic reforms in the future.
Aigbe said the state of the nation was “dreadful,” emphasizing that citizens are starving, perishing, and losing their sanity. On her Instagram page, she wrote: “People are famished! People are falling! People are freaking out!
“The state of the nation is dreadful! The government should, please, please, we are imploring, they should do something about this economic misery!
“It’s intolerable, @officialasiwajubat. @seyitinubu, please implore your father for our sake. Enough is enough!”
