Wunmi, the bereaved wife of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, has called on her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, to secure a court order for a DNA test on her son, Liam.
It is recalled that there have been requests from Mohbad’s father and several concerned Nigerians for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of the late singer’s son, Liam.
Previously, Wunmi had expressed her willingness to have a DNA test conducted on her son, insisting that it should be carried out both domestically and internationally.
However, in a recent string of Instagram posts, the late Mohbad’s wife pleaded for help, alleging that she and Liam were under threat.
“Nigerians, Liam and I are at your mercy! Will you let what happened to Ilerioluwa happen to us? We are threatened daily, and our freedom has been taken away! Nigerians, please help us,” she posted.
She also revealed that Mohbad’s father had pressured them into having a child and questioned his current demand for a DNA test.
“I didn’t want to have a baby at that time, but Baba told Mohbad and me that the Holy Spirit instructed him to have a grandson who would purchase the coffin for his burial. I discovered I was pregnant on August 5th of the same year, and my father-in-law was overjoyed at the news of my pregnancy. Why is he trying to tarnish the legacy his son left behind?” she asked.
Nevertheless, she affirmed her readiness to proceed with the DNA test and encouraged her father-in-law to obtain a court order.
“Obtain a court order because it’s time for me to put my adversaries to shame,” Wunmi declared.
