Renowned Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has publicly declared her stance on remarriage, stating that she has no intentions of walking down the aisle again.
The single mother of two has clarified that her relationship with her current partner, music executive Paul Okoye, also known as Paulo, is based on companionship rather than marital aspirations.
In a post on her Instagram page, the celebrated actress expressed her sentiments with the words, “Marriage – completed. Parenthood – completed. Raising my children – completed. The next chapter: Pure enjoyment!”
When a fan inquired about her reaction if Paulo were to propose, Ojo assured that they both share the same perspective on their relationship.
In response to another fan who criticized her for allegedly discouraging young women from believing in the institution of marriage, the actress clarified her position. She stated, “I never expressed disbelief in marriage. I simply shared my personal experience that it didn’t work out for me, and I have no desire to revisit that path. My focus now is to live joyfully with my soul mate.”
