“I’m not going to disturb myself for any other American collaboration”- Davido

Date:

Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently shared his thoughts on potential American collaborations. According to him, apart from Chris Brown, he won’t “disturb” himself for any other American artist. However, there’s one exception: he’s eagerly anticipating a collaboration with Rihanna after she declared his song “Unavailable” as her favorite.

“Aside Chris Brown, I’m not going to disturb myself for any other American collaboration. Rihanna said ‘Unavailable’ is her best song, so I’m waiting to work with her,” he said.

In the realm of Afrobeats and American music fusion, Davido’s track “Blow My Mind” with Chris Brown made waves, becoming one of the first successful cross-genre collaborations since “One Dance”.

“Blow My Mind’ with Chris Brown was the first US x Afrobeats collaboration to go crazy aside ‘One Dance’,” he concluded.

With his star on the rise, Davido has big plans for the year, including more new music, live shows, and maintaining a positive outlook. It seems he’s ready to take the music world by storm, one collaboration at a time!
