Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, a Grammy-awarded Nigerian artist, has confidently claimed that even if he chooses to step away from the music scene at this moment, his fellow artist Davido would not attain his level of success.
Wizkid made this statement during a spirited conversation with Davido on the X platform on Monday evening.
He referred to Davido as his “protégé,” further stating that the DMW leader is merely an influencer who also writes songs. He expressed, “I have nothing to say to you, my protégé! I could step away from music today, and you’d still not reach my stature. You’re an influencer who writes songs. Best of luck to you.”
