Nigerian music industry ablaze, Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, popularly known as Timaya, has unleashed a scathing attack on his social media handler, Bolaji Fadipe. The bone of contention? Timaya’s unwarranted entanglement in the ongoing social media feud between music titans Davido and Wizkid.
Despite repeated warnings, Bolaji persisted in dragging Timaya into unrelated matters, much to the singer’s chagrin. In a tweet on his X formally (Twitter) handle, he wrote:
“BOLAJI FADIPE, YOU ARE A MAD MAN FOR TWEETING WITH MY HANDLE. I have warned you severally, but you wouldn’t listen. Just because you work with my team and have access doesn’t mean you should put me in other people’s business. I want you to enjoy the fame you want to hide behind. Fool.”
The backdrop to this explosive outburst lies in the escalating tensions between Wizkid and Davido. It all began when Wizkid subtly mocked the 30BG boss in a video posted on Monday. Fans of both artists erupted in a frenzy, with other singers like Kizz Daniel and Tekno also joining the fray. Davido, not one to be outdone, fired back with a cryptic tweet on the X platform, suggesting that Wizkid’s songs were no longer relevant.
