Naira Abuse: Cubana Chief Priest arrives court for continuation of trial

Nigerian entrepreneur and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has made his appearance at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos State for the continuation of his trial related to alleged naira abuse.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed a three-count charge against Pascal Okechukwu (popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest) over the alleged misuse of the national currency. He was arraigned in court and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The judge granted him bail in the sum of N10 million with two responsible sureties in like sum. The bail conditions must be perfected within seven days, and the trial is set to continue on May 2, 2024
