Renowned Nollywood actress, Shan George, has made a distress call to the public after falling victim to a fraudulent act that left her bank account empty.
George reported that an individual named Cecilia had drained her bank account of 3.6 million Naira.
In a heartfelt video message disseminated through her Instagram profile, the distressed actress revealed that she was left without any money and was unable to provide for her children. She expressed her frustration at the timing of the incident, as it occurred over the weekend, preventing her from lodging a complaint with the bank.
In her plea for help, George said, “I implore my fellow Nigerians to assist me. A person named Cecilia has transferred all 3.6 million Naira from my Zenith Bank account to her Opay account. I’m now penniless. I have nothing to feed my children with. The worst part is that today is Saturday, and I can’t go to the bank to lodge a complaint.” George expressed her despair.
