No Safe Haven for Russian Soldiers in Ukraine, Declares Zelenskyy

Date:

Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has made a firm commitment to deny Russian troops any sanctuary on Ukrainian territory amidst the ongoing conflict.

Zelenskyy highlighted the growing prowess of Ukrainian forces in the battle against Russia, noting their success in decimating enemy infantry and armored units.

In a statement released on his X page, Zelenskyy detailed the current situation: “Our troops persistently resist Russian assaults, especially in the Kharkiv region. We’ve bolstered our defenses, particularly around Vovchansk and other border areas.

“Brigadier General Mykhailo Drapatyi, who is presently on the ground, leads this effort. He has been supplied with all necessary resources and manpower.

“Our performance is on an upward trajectory. We’re effectively neutralizing enemy infantry and armored units. I commend all our warriors who strictly follow orders, maintain their posts, and strive tirelessly to stabilize the situation.

“Simultaneously, we’re acutely aware of the enemy’s tactics and their strategy to spread our forces thin. We’re careful not to divert essential support and supplies from Donetsk, especially Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk.

“We’re also keeping a close watch on the Kupyansk front. We’ve observed enemy movements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, including sabotage squads and artillery fire. Our response has been swift and appropriate.

“Our mission is unequivocal: to prevent Russia from escalating the war. Everyone, from Chernihiv to Vovchansk, Kharkiv to Donetsk, has a role to play in achieving this.

“Invaders should find no refuge on Ukrainian soil or in Ukrainian airspace.

“We must spare no effort to ensure that it is the invaders who face defeat, not the Ukrainians.”
