In a surprising turn of events today, five commissioners, known for their pro-Wike stance, have stepped down from their roles in Fubara’s cabinet.
The list of resignees includes Prof. Chinedu Mmom, the Commissioner for Education; Ben-Golden Chioma, the Commissioner for Environment; Dr Gift Worlu, the Commissioner for Housing; Dr. Jacobs Nbina, the Commissioner for Transportation; and Mrs. Inime Chinwenwo Aguma, the Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation.
The commissioners have submitted their resignation letters to the office of the Secretary to the State Government, effective immediately. This marks a significant shift in Fubara’s cabinet, with the departure of these key figures.
