The Belgian national team has announced its provisional squad for the upcoming UEFA European Championship 2024.
Notably, Thibaut Courtois was the major missing as head coach Domenico Tedesco announced Belgium’s provisional squad for the Euro 2024
Thus Belgium become the fifth team after European giants Italy, Germany, England and Spain to release their provisional squad. Although the reason for leaving out Courtois is not yet known, it is believed that he has just recovered a few days back from an ACL injury and has not attained match fitness.

Forward: J.Bakayoko, Carrasco, De Ketelaere, Doku, Lukaku, Lukebakio, Openda, Trossard.
Having allowed the golden generation to pass them by without claiming any major silverware, Belgium will be heading to Germany hoping to mark a new era under Roberto Martinez’s successor, Tedesco.
Belgium will be looking to improve on their dismal World Cup showing in Qatar, where they exited a favourable group that also included Croatia, Morocco and Canada.
