It has been reported that Timberlake was taken into custody on Monday evening within the Hamptons community of Sag Harbor, New York.
A representative for the local police confirmed the arrest to Newsday, while an official from the Sag Harbor Justice Court acknowledged that Timberlake faces charges related to driving under the influence (DUI).
The Suffolk County district attorney’s office has announced that Timberlake is slated for arraignment on Tuesday.
The incident occurs as Timberlake is in the midst of his ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.’ His upcoming schedule includes back-to-back performances in Chicago over the coming weekend, followed by two appearances in New York City the following week.
