Rema Asserts Equality with Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy Amid ‘Big 4’ Debate

Date:

Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, firmly believes that it’s insulting to suggest he isn’t on the same level as Afrobeats giants Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy—the so-called ‘Big 3.’

Recently, Rema faced backlash after declaring a ‘Big 4’ in the industry. In his latest release, ‘Hehehe,’ under Mavin Global Holdings, he boldly sings:

‘No more big 3, there’s now a big 4. People may criticize, but what for? They might say I don’t deserve it, but that’s an insult.’
