Adekunle Gold Expresses Gratitude to Olamide for Career Support

Renowned Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold has taken to social media to express his heartfelt appreciation to rapper Olamide for bringing him into the YBNL music label.

Olamide founded the record label in 2012 following the success of his second studio album, ‘YBNL’. Adekunle Gold joined YBNL in 2015 and released his debut album, ‘Gold’, under the label. After his contract ended, he parted ways with YBNL.

On Friday, Adekunle shared a cover of his debut album on X, thanking Olamide for contributing to his career development.

He wrote, “Thank you @olamide for giving that young graphic designer the opportunity to not only create the YBNL logo but to become a part of your family.”
