In response, Saint Jhn clarified his musical influences and admiration for Rema while dispelling the notion of direct influence. He tweeted, “Nah, he’s dope. But I haven’t heard enough to be influenced.”

Saint Jhn’s statement highlights a mutual respect between the two artists while maintaining his own creative integrity. Although he acknowledges Rema’s talent, he emphasized that his exposure to Rema’s work has been limited, thus ruling out any direct influence on his own music.

Rema, known for his energetic and innovative approach to afrobeats, has quickly risen to international fame, influencing a new generation of artists worldwide. On the other hand, Saint Jhn has carved out his niche with a unique blend of rap, R&B, and eclectic sounds, earning acclaim for his originality and distinctive voice.

While the conversation around musical influence and inspiration remains a hot topic, it’s evident that Saint Jhn and Rema are each making their mark in their own right.
