Famous English singer Ed Sheeran recently opened up about how his career has influenced his personal life, particularly his romantic relationships. The 33-year-old, who has won multiple Grammy Awards, candidly shared that he believes his success in music played a crucial role in his love life.

In a recent video message posted on his Instagram account, Sheeran revealed,

“If I wasn’t a musician, I’d be a virgin.” This surprising confession highlights the significant impact his career has had on his personal experiences and relationships.

Ed Sheeran first publicly known relationship was with Scottish singer Nina Nesbitt in 2012. Nesbitt is the muse behind his songs “Nina” and “Photograph.” After their relationship ended, Sheeran dated Athina Andrelos in 2014, who inspired his hit song “Thinking Out Loud.” However, they broke up in February 2015.

In July 2015, Sheeran rekindled a relationship with his childhood friend, Cherry Seaborn. The couple announced their engagement in January 2018 and tied the knot a year later. Cherry is the inspiration behind Sheeran’s romantic ballad “Perfect.” Together, they have welcomed two daughters, with their first born in 2020 and their second on May 19, 2022.
