Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the club is edging closer to securing the services of Valencia’s highly-rated goalkeeper, Giorgi Mamardashvili. Romano, renowned for his accuracy in transfer reporting, initially broke the news that Liverpool were interested in the Georgian shot-stopper, valuing him at around €30 million. The move is now reportedly in the “deal on” stage, with personal terms already agreed upon between Mamardashvili and Liverpool.
