The Big Brother Naija community mourns the loss of Francisca Owumi, the first runner-up of the reality TV show’s inaugural season in 2006. Her family announced her passing on Instagram, sharing, “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
Owumi was a vibrant presence during her time on Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija), capturing hearts with her energetic dance moves and charming personality. She was part of a memorable group of housemates, including Katung Aduwak, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, and the late Joseph Ada.
Following her reality TV journey, Owumi pursued a passion for music. In 2012, she released two singles, “Gbadun You” and “Diva,” under her own record label, Cisca Entertainment. Her creativity didn’t stop there; she also contributed as a writer for Revista, an international magazine based in Ghana.
