VeryDarkman Leads Protest at NAFDAC HQ Over Neglected Complaints

Date:

Controversial socialite and activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkman, has escalated his campaign against the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) by leading a protest at their headquarters in Abuja. This demonstration follows his frustration with NAFDAC’s lack of response to his complaints about miracle products sold by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyi, leader of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries (CMDM).

VeryDarkman had previously taken to social media to express his dissatisfaction with NAFDAC, accusing the agency of incompetence for ignoring his concerns. When his grievances were not addressed, he organised a protest march to NAFDAC’s main office, where he demanded accountability for the agency’s inaction.

At the forefront of the protest, VeryDarkman vocally criticised NAFDAC for what he perceived as negligence in regulating potentially harmful products. He also accused the agency’s staff of exploiting companies by charging exorbitant fees for product registration, rather than ensuring public safety.

The protest attracted significant attention, with senior NAFDAC staff eventually stepping out to address the demonstrators. A heated exchange ensued between the officials and VeryDarkman, highlighting the tension between the activist and the regulatory body.
