The National Policy for Inclusive Development (NPID) has called on the economic handlers of President Bola Tinubu’s administration to take responsibility for Nigeria’s ongoing economic challenges. In a statement, the group emphasized the need for immediate corrective measures to prevent further deterioration of the nation’s economic landscape.
NPID stressed that the current economic policies have produced negative outcomes, which could be avoided with a more competent, transparent, and strategic economic management team. The group urged the administration to recalibrate its approach to economic governance to align with the president’s vision for national growth.
“NPID reaffirms its support for President Tinubu’s efforts to rebuild Nigeria,” the statement read. “However, we must ensure that the president’s vision is not derailed by ineffective policies and poor management. Nigeria has the potential to rise again, but this requires sound economic strategies and a capable team to deliver results.”
