Gospel Singer Dele Gold Passes Away

Renowned gospel singer Dele Agbeyo, popularly known as Dele Gold, has passed away after a brief illness. The self-proclaimed “Miliki Gospel King” hailed from Usi, Ekiti State, but grew up in Faforiji, Osun State. His death was confirmed by several colleagues, including Titi Oguntoyinbo, Akinlabi Major, Alayo Melody Singer, and Wonder Doyin Kujore, who expressed their shock and sorrow on social media.

Dele Gold’s colleagues took to social media to pay their respects and share their disbelief at his sudden passing. Titi Oguntoyinbo wrote, “Lord, this is a rude shock to me,” while Akinlabi Major posted, “Let someone tell me this is not true. RIP Dele Gold.” Alayo Melody Singer shared his condolences on Instagram, writing, “Dele Gold Kee??? Ahh, this is getting too much ooo!!! May God help us stop untimely deaths.” Wonder Doyin Kujore reflected on the fleeting nature of life, writing, “Nothing is in this world; let us live today and leave tomorrow for God.”

Dele Gold was known for his collaboration with Juju music legend Ebenezer Obey on his 2019 album. His passing comes just a month after the death of fellow gospel singer Aduke Ajayi, popularly known as Aduke Gold, who died while undergoing treatment for cervical cancer. Dele Gold’s untimely death has sent shockwaves through the gospel music community, with fans and colleagues alike mourning the loss of a talented artist.
