“Music Isn’t a Get-Rich-Quick Scheme,” Says Pheelz

Date:

Nigerian singer and producer Philip Kayode, known professionally as Pheelz, recently shared profound insights on the true nature of music. In a series of posts on his X formally (Twitter) handle, he challenged the common perception that music is merely a means to quick financial gain, emphasizing its deeper, spiritual significance. Pheelz stated,

“Music is not a grind. It is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It is not a hustle. Music is life. Music is feeling. Music is healing. Music is God.”

This declaration highlights his belief that music transcends commercial interests, serving as a vital expression of human experience and emotional connection.

Further elaborating on his thoughts, Pheelz differentiated between music and the music business, noting,

“The music and the music business are two different frequencies to me. The Music Business is man’s attempt to commodify God’s energy. The Music itself is God.”

This perspective underlines his conviction that while the industry may focus on profit, the essence of music remains a divine and transformative force.

Pheelz’s reflections invite listeners and creators alike to rethink their relationship with music, encouraging a return to its roots as a source of inspiration, healing, and connection.
