Hon. Najeemdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji, Member of the Federal House of Representatives for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, has distributed notebooks and mathematical sets to public secondary school students across the four local governments.
A total of 13,020 books were distributed: Iseyin LG received 5,250 books, Kajola LG got 3,570 books, Itesiwaju LG benefited with 2,310 books, and Iwajowa LG secured 1,890 books.
The Executive Chairman of Kajola Local Government, Hon. Barr Mustapha Akeem Olawale, presented the books and mathematical sets to the beneficiaries at the council’s Secretariat Complex on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
Oshine emphasized that the distribution aligns with his campaign promises. He pledged to deliver on all promises made, viewing them as debts that must be paid to avoid divine retribution. He assured that his deliverables would be met stage by stage to address the constituents’ needs.
Chief Johnson Ojebiyi, Kajola PDP Chairman, praised the federal lawmaker for his effective representation, highlighting achievements in farming, scholarships, solar power, food supply, and empowerment initiatives. He urged Oshine to continue bringing benefits to the constituents.
Kajola Council Boss, Akeem Mustapha, lauded the program as multidimensional, benefiting teachers, students, and parents. He encouraged students to focus on their studies despite challenges.
Engr Salam, Permanent Secretary and Inspector of Education for Kajola Zone, commended the lawmaker’s educational initiatives,urging continued diligence to enhance education across the constituency. Mr. Mudasiru SA, Head of Zone, advised students to use the books wisely to justify their distribution.
