Nigerian music sensation Daniel Anidugbe, famously known as Kizz Daniel, has announced his plans to take a sabbatical from releasing music after his upcoming EP, Uncle K, set to drop on November 29, 2024.
The hitmaker shared the news on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday, saying, “After this I no dey drop anything again until 2026.” This announcement has sparked mixed reactions among fans, with many pleading with the singer to reconsider, citing how much they would miss his signature sound and infectious melodies.
Since his breakout in 2016 with the chart-topping single Woju, Kizz Daniel has remained one of Nigeria’s most consistent and celebrated artists. With five studio albums and a slew of hit tracks to his name, including Mama, One Ticket, and Buga, he has solidified his place as a household name in the Afrobeat scene.
The upcoming EP, Uncle K, is already generating significant buzz, as fans eagerly anticipate what could be the last offering from the artist for the next two years.
