Ruger Appeals to Wizkid to Inherit His Fanbase Upon Retirement

Date:

Nigerian singer Ruger has made a public appeal to his fellow artist Wizkid, asking to inherit his fanbase if he ever decides to retire from music. The ‘Bounce’ crooner made the request on his X handle on Saturday.

Ruger pleaded with Wizkid to name him as the heir to his fanbase in his music will, in case Wizkid’s son, Zion, is not interested in pursuing a music career. He wrote,”@wizkidayo if you ever decide to not do music again, and Zion no wan do music self, pls write my name Ruger as the person to inherit your fanbase in your music will.”

As of now, Wizkid has not responded to Ruger’s request. The Starboy boss is known for having one of the most dedicated fanbases in Africa, popularly referred to as Wizkid FC
