Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina, Nigeria’s representative, has been crowned Miss Universe Africa and Oceania at the Miss Universe 2024 competition.
Adetshina secured the second-place position behind Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, at the 73rd Miss Universe Competition held in Mexico.
As the first runner up, Adetshina was bestowed with the titles of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania. She now proudly holds the titles of Miss Universe Nigeria, Miss Universe Africa, and Miss Universe Oceania.
Adetshina has made history as the first Miss Universe Nigeria to reach the top 2 on the global stage. She earned the title of Miss Nigeria after withdrawing from the Miss South Africa contest due to scrutiny over her nationality.
