Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has revealed that the new England manager, Thomas Tuchel, will decide whether he remains the captain of the team.
Speaking with talkSPORT, Kane expressed confidence in his place in the Three Lions squad, regardless of the decision.
“That’s going to be Thomas’s decision for sure,” Kane said. “But ultimately, from my point of view, I always feel like I’m picked for England based on form and merit. It’s not just because I’m England captain that I’m here. I’ve come off the back of my best season individually last year, and I’ve started this season really well too.”
Tuchel is expected to take charge of the England team starting January 1.
