Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has shed light on his experiences with romantic relationships and how he views his connections with women.
In a recent interview with Naija FM, the “Asiwaju” crooner shared insights into his personal life, revealing a shift in how he approaches matters of the heart.
Ruger described himself as a “lover boy” but admitted that he has come to the realization that traditional relationships may not work for him.
He explained that his natural inclination is to pursue serious connections with women, but he often finds himself losing interest as time goes on.
“I’m a lover boy. It is now that I understand that relationships don’t work for me,” he said during the interview. “But my first instinct when I see a girl is to think about getting serious with her. But later I just become unserious all of a sudden.”
The singer also addressed his interactions with female fans during performances, emphasizing that his on-stage gestures are purely professional. “Honestly, the most I can give a female fan on stage is a flower. It’s like we are working together. I don’t see it beyond the stage,” Ruger explained.
Known for his energetic performances and infectious music, Ruger continues to captivate fans while navigating the complexities of balancing personal relationships with his rising career.
