Popular Nollywood stars Funke Akindele and Faithia Williams have unfollowed each other on Instagram, signaling a rift in their once-close relationship.
The two actresses were known to support each other’s work and had a cordial relationship. The tension reportedly began when Faithia failed to attend Akindele’s recent movie premiere but made an appearance at Mercy Aigbe’s event.
This was perceived as a slight, possibly in response to Akindele’s absence at Faithia’s father’s burial, despite an invitation.
In response to the perceived slight, Akindele decided to unfollow Faithia on Instagram.
