After an arduous eight-year legal dispute, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have finalized their divorce.
The Hollywood stars signed the divorce papers on Monday, December 30, as reported by the Daily Mail.
However, the contentious issue of their jointly-owned French chateau remains unresolved. “Angelina is frankly exhausted,” said Divorce Lawyer James Simon. “More than eight years ago, Angelina initiated the divorce proceedings against Mr. Pitt. She and their children moved out of all properties they shared with Mr. Pitt, and since then, she has been dedicated to finding peace and healing for their family.”
Jolie originally filed for divorce in September 2016, just two years after the couple were married.
