Nigerian singer Odumodublvck recently shared his thoughts on his relationship with music, revealing that it has not done anything for him on its own.
In a candid and somewhat controversial interview, Odumodublvck described music as a dependable friend but admitted that he does not love it. He explained that music only gives back what he invests into it.
“I don’t love music. But music and I are friends. I like you, music, and one thing I know about you is that you’re reliable. When you say you’ll do something, you do it because you meet me at the point of my effort,” he stated.
“Whatever work you put into music is what it gives you back. Music doesn’t cheat anyone. But to say that I love music, NO NO NO NO. Music itself hasn’t gone out of its way to do anything for me.
“It was the effort I put in that made music reciprocate, and I have no problem with that. So music shouldn’t have a problem with me saying I don’t love it.”
