Lawyer Challenges Burna Boy to Arrest Cubana Chief Priest Over Defamation Claims

Date:

Stan Alieke, the lawyer representing embattled singer Speed Darlington, has challenged Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy to arrest socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, for allegedly defaming him, just as he did with Darlington for a similar alleged offense.

Cubana Chief Priest has been trolling Burna Boy on social media following a remark made by the singer.

In one of his posts, Chief Priest accused Burna Boy of having an illicit relationship with embattled American music executive Diddy to win a Grammy. Speed Darlington was previously arrested for making similar claims.

Reacting to the situation, Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, challenged Burna Boy to prove he isn’t a coward by arresting Chief Priest in the same manner as he did with his client.

On his Instastory, Alieke wrote, “Your petition claims that the Diddy and baby oil banter has caused ‘irreparable damage to your international reputation and has made you lose a lot of gigs.’

“Hey, another person with more reach and influence just referenced the baby oil and Diddy banter, so the world is expecting you to engage the police and arrest him since that’s your modus operandi, or the street will interpret it as cowardice.

“Well, I’m just a lawyer that wants justice to go round.”
