Billionaire singer Rihanna has spoken out after her partner, A$AP Rocky, was found not guilty of assault with a semiautomatic firearm by a Los Angeles jury.
The hip-hop star had been facing two felony counts related to a 2021 incident involving his former childhood friend, Terell Ephron, also known as A$AP Relli.
Rihanna was visibly emotional as the not-guilty verdicts were delivered on Tuesday. Rocky jumped into the gallery to embrace family members, including Rihanna, and his lawyer, Joe Tacopina.
Celebrating the verdict on her Instagram, Rihanna wrote, “The glory belongs to God and God alone! Thankful, humbled by His mercy.”
Rocky had been facing a potential maximum sentence of 24 years.
