Kanye West bewildered fans with a series of Instagram posts on Tuesday, seemingly igniting an unexpected feud with Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother.
The controversial rapper, 47, appeared to collaborate with fellow artist The Game, 45, to produce a song about Tina, although the motive remains unclear.
In a video shared by Kanye, The Game is seen recording lyrics over the same song Tina was serenaded with during her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show – a rendition of Beyoncé’s hit “Formation.”
Earlier, Kanye posted a picture of what seemed to be The Game’s phone, which showed a banana emoji sent to Tina via direct message.
He captioned it: “This Game’s phone.”
Kanye added to the confusion by sharing the same emoji in a separate post, with the caption: “Tear that monkey up.”
