Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has revealed his regret over gaining fame, citing the loss of personal privacy and constant public scrutiny.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the self-proclaimed “mummy of Lagos” opened up about his frustrations with the pressures of celebrity life. Reflecting on his experiences, Bobrisky lamented the challenges of maintaining privacy in a highly judgmental society like Nigeria.
“Every spirit of monitoring spirit in my life, disappear. Imagine posting and people are trying to know your location. I lost my privacy ever since I became famous,” he wrote.
The social media influencer further expressed his disillusionment, stating, “I wish I was never famous. You just have to keep everything about you away. Social Nigeria is too toxic.”
Bobrisky’s candid confession comes amidst ongoing controversies surrounding his public persona. Since serving a term for naira abuse earlier this year, he has faced a series of clashes with Nigerian security agencies, further amplifying his struggles in the limelight.
