Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has shared insights into his upbringing during a conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
Blaqbonez revealed that his father abandoned him at birth, resulting in his not being raised by his dad.
“My dad kind of dipped when I was born, so he wasn’t there. I wasn’t raised by my dad,” he explained.
In the interview, Blaqbonez also declared himself “the best rapper in Africa,” asserting that no African rapper has a better discography than he does. He proudly cited last year’s endorsement from award-winning Ghanaian-American singer Amaarae, who declared Blaqbonez to be the best rapper in Nigeria.
