Salah Makes History in Liverpool’s 6-3 Victory Over Tottenham

Date:

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah made history on Sunday during his team’s 6-3 Premier League win over Tottenham Hotspur. Salah scored twice in the match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

With his brace, the Egyptian forward became the first player in Premier League history to reach double figures for both goals and assists before Christmas. Salah now boasts 18 goals and 14 assists in all competitions this season for Liverpool.

When asked about the record after the game, Salah told Sky Sports, “Records? I just keep working hard! We were quite good in front.”

He added, “It’s great to achieve that at such a big club. Wherever I am going to end my career, I am happy about it.”
