Eintracht Frankfurt are in talks with Viktoria Plzen to sign Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi in the January transfer window. The Bundesliga club have reportedly offered €18m for the 20-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in 15 games for the Czech side this season.
Durosinmi is seen as a potential replacement for Randal Kolo Muani, who joined Paris Saint Germain last summer. The Nigerian has impressed with his pace, strength, and aerial ability, attracting interest from several European clubs.
However, Frankfurt are confident of securing his services, as they have already held initial discussions with the player and his representatives. They also hope to finalize the deal before the transfer deadline, as Durosinmi is currently sidelined with a knee injury and is expected to recover by January.
Frankfurt are currently fourth in the Bundesliga table, with 23 points from 12 games. They are looking to strengthen their attack, as they have scored only 18 goals so far, the lowest among the top six teams. Durosinmi could provide them with more firepower and versatility upfront.
